Todd was born in New York but was raised in the Ft. Lauderdale area. He has been diving the waters of South Florida for over seventeen years. Todd is a U.S. Coast Guard certified captain. He has run boats extensively throughout Florida as well as up the eastern seaboard and into Canada. Capt Todd has been a PADI certified diver since 1983 and is currently trained to the Divemaster level.

Chris Rogers was raised in South Florida and has been diving the local waters since 1989. She is a Chief Fire Officer for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue as well as a Paramedic and a Rescue Diver. She is currently trained to the PADI Divemaster level and is a 100 ton captain.

The Rogers are occasionally joined on the boat by Bugs and Savannah. Savannah is a yellow lab and is no stranger to the water or to boats. Bugs is a retired racing greyhound and although not an accomplished swimmer he feels right at home on the American Dream II.
